Google Homepage

n I thought only Yahoo! have one, not Google. Well, not until today. Hehe.

Found out about Google Homepage. Really nice, though. And quite easy and simple unlike the one I used for my Yahoo!. Guess Yahoo! must try better or else they will lose in this game also. hehehe

7:27

I was just doing touch ups on my KrongKrang, when suddenly, the electricity went off. Oh, not again. Such events, are not rare these days in the campus. Two days ago (or so), there was a black out at about 12 a.m. Luckily that time I was too tired after going through a day of tiredness, for the sake of my ETP as well as my DSP.

But for sure now it is not the same. As I am writing here, the electric is still down. I might post this at a later time, but that’s just a delayed post.

Also, I wanna share about my laptop today. Yesterday was quite a bad day for me. I was writing down my program for my DSP, when all of a sudden I accidentally pushed my laptop and ‘IT FELL DOWN’ from my bed. OH NO THERE GOES MY LAPTOP!

My roommate was shocked. Me, well, double the shock of course. Just bought it last year, and this is the second time the laptop fell down (the first event was in the gents room, and it fell down onto a marble floor right from the sink, which luckily didn’t do any damage to my laptop)

Quickly I checked the laptop and the display was very, very blurred. I thought that this would be my final time with my laptop. But then again, I was determined that a miracle might happened, so I just restart it. Lucky me, the laptop is working well, 100% working. :)

DSP

Bismillah.

uhh.. just had my VIVA 3 this evening, by one of the best EE lecturer cum motivator, Ir Dr Fadzil.

He's a real interesting guy, who can speak about almost everything. From Signal Processing right down to shoes, seriously I respect the way he interacts with students.

Still, then, he is also known as a horror lecturer during VIVAs (presentations). But somehow, I didn't find him horrific at all. Seriously.

The first thing he said was something like this "You presented this. Why didn't the others present it like this?", though to be honest, the idea of redoing our (mine and Syafiq's presentation) flowcharts came out at 2:30 pm, and the presentation is on 3:00 pm. Luckily there was some delay at his office, and it gave me some time to even do something better, at such late times.

Well, I would never expect such comments from him. I was expecting something dreadlier, something worse than what I could imagine. Of course, especially for someone who suddenly changed all his presentation in the nick of time, and ta-da, present it on the spot. It was a real crazy job.

A crazy job with unexpected results. 10/12 for my Viva 3. Alhamdulillah. And the best part, he said to us in the end "If you're interested in doing Signal Processing for your FYP, you can always come and see me". Wow, perhaps we did make him pleased on our project presentation. Yatta~
